Artyom Badeev

Junior Researcher at the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Section of the Iranian Languages; Research Assistant at Beth Mardutho: The Syriac Institute.

Member of the editorial board of the Indo-Iranian Languages journal.

Biography

Artyom participated in the field trips to the Pamir languages area (to the city of Khorog and the neighboring villages in 2019, 2021, 2022, 2025; to Bartang River Valley in 2023, 2024, 2025).

He participated in the projects of the School of Linguistics & Institute for Oriental and Classical Studies, HSE University “Digital and Linguistic Resources for the Shughni Language Support”, “Digital and Corpus Tools for Iranian Studies”.

He participated in the project of the Section of the Iranian Languages, Institute of Linguistics RAS & Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Lomonosov MSU to create electronic lexicographic resources for Ossetic language.

Research Assistant at Beth Mardutho: The Syriac Institute, he participated in the project to create a lexical database and historical dictionary of the Syriac language.
