phonetics phonology prosody linguistic typology

Research

I am currently focusing my research on the prosody of the Pamir languages, particularly Shughni, by investigating their suprasegmental features—such as intonation, stress, and rhythm, employing the framework of syntax-prosody mapping theory. In parallel, I conduct in-depth analyses of Russian phonetics. My work operates on two levels: first, on the segmental level, where I examine the acoustic properties of Standard Russian; and second, on the prosodic level, where I explore the suprasegmental structure of Russian dialects.

Biography

I participated in two field trips to Pamir to study the Shughni language (2024–2025). I am a research assistant at the Laboratory for Learner Corpora (HSE University) since 2025.
